Pajama Party

We're thinking of starting a tradition in my family - pajama day on New Year's Day! We had a great time. Aaron and I went over in our fleece jammies to hang out for the afternoon. Nanny and Papa, Grandma Great, and Chelsee and Jay were all there too. Aunt Katie was for a while but she had to go to work in the afternoon.

We played several games of Hand and Foot, ate lots of goodies throughout the day, then had dinner at about 5:30. It was nice to relax and enjoy each other's company. Nanny, Aunt Chelsee, and Grandma Great all got to feed Aaron pears! He did so well! He took three naps in his pack and play upstairs in Nanny and Papa's bedroom and was in a good mood most of the day.

I had to pick up some dog food on the way home and stopped at Price Chopper. It wasn't until I was headed inside with Aaron's big ol' carrier that I realized I was still in my pajamas...and slippers! They weren't the kind that could mistaken for sweats - they were bright blue fleece pajama bottoms! Oh well. To top it off, I lost my wallet - it fell out of my coat. The security guard had to help me find it. It was on the floor by the carts and luckily nothing was missing.

Needless to say, it was a nice way to start off the new year!
