My Birthday

Looks like I've got some catching up to do on my blogging!  I've been having so much fun in the kitchen with my new toys and food preservation obsession that I haven't had time to blog!  More on that later though.

A few weeks back I turned another year older.  Thirty one is going to be a great year.  I can feel it.

We started the day off at a cute little breakfast cafe in Golden called Roast and Toast.  My boys gave me two new books to add to my kitchen collection.  A canning book and a juicing book - yes!!  You can guess what I've been up to lately!

Then it was off on a four wheeling adventure.  In the snow!  Yup, it snowed on my birthday.  I love this state.  I'm pretty sure this was a first.  Snow is so beautiful and refreshing to me.  It's feels cleansing somehow.  It was the perfect way to spend my birthday!

I also picked up my out and brought home my new phone and the best part is, our bill is actually cheaper than before!  Why didn't I do this sooner???

I had to teach two classes that night but when I got home, all that hard work went to my fantastic ice cream cake!  It was so worth it. : )

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes via facebook, email, phone calls, texts, and even snail mail.  I feel very loved and fortunate to have so many people in my life that genuinely care about me.
